Turkish drama serial Ertugrul Ghazi has set new records of success in Pakistan. The drama is not only getting good ratings on TV but also millions of people are watching it on YouTube.Ertugrul Ghazi is being presented in Urdu dubbing on PTV Home in Pakistan. A separate channel for the drama has been created on YouTube under the name "TRT Ertugrul Bai PTV". Daily instalments are uploaded on this channel.
Named "TRT Ertugrul by PTV", the channel was created on April 18, 2020 and has more than one million subscribers so far and the number of subscribers continues to grow.
A campaign has been launched on Pakistani social media to make the above mentioned YouTube channel the most successful channel in the world. The hashtag (#ErtugrulYouTubeRecord) is one of the top trends on Twitter. Under the hashtag, people are being asked to subscribe to the channel and set a world record for the most subscriptions in a month.
Keep in mind that the world's second largest YouTube channel "Pew Die Pie" has a world record of having the most subscribers in a month. They had received 6.6 million (66,17,062) subscribers in the month of December 2018. Pew Pie also holds the record for being the longest running YouTube channel in the world. It has been the world's largest subscriber channel for 2063 days.
