A major decision on increasing fuel demand, the import of gasoline and crude oil was announced
KARACHI: The Ministry of Energy lifted the ban on importing crude oil and gasoline into the country after a month. According to Express News, the Petroleum Division of the Ministry of Energy has informed the Advisory Committee of Oil Companies in a letter that the ban has been lifted.  Once the ban is lifted, refineries will be able to import crude oil, while commercial companies will be able to import diesel and gasoline.
Oil Division officials say the country's demand for fuel has increased since April 1 due to wheat cultivation. Gasoline and diesel consumption is also increasing. Given this situation, it has been decided to lift the ban.
It should be recalled that the importation of crude oil and petroleum products into Pakistan was banned on March 25 and the order said that in the event of a blockade, the local refining industry had petroleum products to meet domestic demand for oil. Have enough stock
